Shimy sat on her balcony, gazing out at the city at night.
The café was off-limits to humans and bloodthirsty vampires (actually, the same as Jaguaris: off-limits to those not invited).
From here, she had a view of a large neighborhood where criminals conducted their business, and she could just make out the square that connected to the royal palace and the courthouse.
She planned to spend her remaining three months spying on the Legendaries.
Then, an orange dot racing through the streets at breakneck speed caught her eye.
The dot was followed by a green line and a black, crossed-out dot.
The Fabulouses.
Suddenly, Shimy remembered something. She could see auras. A vampire's aura must be different from a human's. She quickly deactivated the aura detection function and looked again.
Just what I thought. The front dot was shrouded in a blue substance that looked mostly like smoke. The other two only glowed red.
When Shimy looked at her own hands, she saw the same blue substance.
Vampires' aura is blue.
She searched through all the vampires she could contact.
Toopie. I'm looking for Toopie.
Finally, her eyes zoomed past a picture of a young girl with two red buns.
She sent her a message.
HI, I SEE YOU RUNNING WITH SHAKI AND MICHI-GAN.
DO THEY KNOW YOU'RE A VAMPIRE?
NO, I DIDN'T KNOW YOU WERE ONE EITHER.
WELL, ANYWAY, HAVE YOU BEEN TOLD ABOUT THE CAFE?
YES I JUST DON'T KNOW WHERE IT IS
A FEW STREETS SOUTH AND THEN INTO THE ALLEY
OKAY I'LL REMEMBER IT
WAIT WHAT'S THE NAME OF THAT ALLEY?
I'LL SEND YOU A PICTURE

OKAY THANKS SEE YOU LATER
BYE
Shimy sighed and decided to browse the profiles to see if she could spot anyone she knew.
And she did.
